NatQuest Web Logo
"The optimal search tool in Natural language for your INTERNET site or your INTRANET environment"

Information Retrieval
NatQuest Web lets users create information databases, surf, retrieve and share business information efficiently. It allows the indexation of a massive collection of documents in HTML format on your web server, making this information available to users via your Intranet. NatQuest Web also allows the transmission of full text or structured information databases via INTERNET.

Why use NatQuest Web?
Setting up NatQuest Web on a WEB site allows the user to easily interrogate and obtain precise and pertinent information. NatQuest Web offers both a simplified environment and precise search results.

For the webmaster, NatQuest Web is a versatile and workable tool that allows the personalization of the user interface.

Designed for Users
NatQuest Web offers a natural language query interface that allows interrogation without the need for a particular syntax or boolean logic. This technology, developed for AGIR, considerably reduces the user's training time and allows a more precise search than traditional interrogation tools.

The cutting edge technology of NQL (Natural Query Language) allows the user to interrogate information databases in Natural language while navigating efficiently through the documents.

When asked for a search, NatQuest Web performs a statistical selection of the documents and displays the available information in order of pertinence. The documents can then be consulted directly in HTML.

NatQuest Web analyzes the information according to various criteria, such as presence, proximity and concentration of the available information, word order, relative weight of the terms, etc.

To facilitate the user's task, when NatQuest Web displays a document, it highlights the found terms.

Its unique technology eases the retrieval of the information and corrects many inaccuracies inherent in boolean logic.

Architectural Overview of NatQuest Web
The architecture of this solution is unique and responds well to an organization's needs to transmit important masses of information through a dynamic environment.
NatQuest Web uses NT Index to index HTML documents on a WEB site. Users can search the database using an HTML interface with any browser that supports HTML formats, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator.

Once completed, the user's queries are sent to NTQuest via the HTML interface. NTQuest searches the Web index and displays several views of the results, listing documents in order of relevance, for example.

The user can immediately access the most relevant document of select other documents from other lists.

NatQuest Web is a very flexible search engine that permits the adaptation of this technology to other solutions available for a WWW environment.

NatQuest Web is available only for Windows 95 and Windows NT (Intel servers). NatQuest Web offers a realistic solution to a big problem: How to offer, via Internet, powerful and easy-to- use tools for the web surfer?
